Hot on the heels of the launch of its new Christmas-themed slot and Pragmatic Play has landed yet another major deal in Brazil after signing a multi-vertical content agreement with sports betting operator MarjoSports.

The new collaboration will see the Curaçao-licensed online site’s customers throughout Brazil gain access to the supplier’s Slots portfolio, including one of its latest releases, Star Pirates Code, as well as the wildly successful John Hunter series alongside its immersive Megaways offering

In addition to the complement of slots, MarjoSports customers will also be privy to Pragmatic Play’s fast-growing line-up of Live Casino games, including recently added regional titles Dragon Tiger and Andar Bahar, as well as the Mega series, with Mega Roulette, Mega Wheel, and Mega Sic Bo.

And for icing on the digital cake, the provider will offer its selection of Virtual Sports titles, which includes football, horse racing and greyhounds. Each of the sports products is available on multiple devices via one single API, while Pragmatic offers 24/7 availability, customization and localization options.

In a statement regarding the tie-up,  Jorge Barbosa Dias, Director for MarjoSports, said…

“The leader in online sports betting in Brazil has partnered with Pragmatic Play to be also a reference in slots, live casino and virtual sports. We have a lot to offer our customers with Pragmatic Play’s extensive offering.

“We are very happy to have signed this agreement and look forward to launching their products in the near future.”

Also commenting on the new partnership, Victor Arias, Vice President of Latin American Operations for Pragmatic Play, said via company news release “We’re delighted to announce this partnership with MarjoSports as we look to further grow our footprint in Latin America and in particular Brazil.

EGR Operator Awards:

In other exciting news, the leading content provider to the flourishing iGaming industry recently celebrated its smashing success at the 2021 EGR Operator Awards, dubbed “The Oscars of the eGaming,” held at Grosvenor House in London on November 25.

Pragmatic Play landed the prestigious Game of the Year award for its Greek mythology-themed title Gates of Olympus, which was released on February 24, 2021. The 6×5 video slot with 20 paylines sees symbols come tumbling down, paying in clusters of a minimum of eight in a unique “Pay Anywhere” system while also offering major multipliers on any spin, making for a highly volatile gaming experience.

The industry recognition is a continuation of the company’s successful year that in addition to awards includes significant commercial growth and expansion of its iGaming products.

Commenting on the latest achievement, Yossi Barzely, Chief Business Development Officer for Pragmatic Play, said they are “delighted and honoured to have won Game of the Year at the EGR Operator Awards amongst a highly contested shortlist. We’re thrilled that Gates of Olympus has been enjoyed so much by the players.”

Barzely explained that the award is a “testament to the hard work of the entire Pragmatic Play family, and we’re thankful to all those who put on such a fantastic event in London.”
