Playtech has announced another expansion in its efforts to reclaim the live casino space online. Coming on the heels of announcements that the company has opened studios in Zurich Switzerland and the US states of Michigan and New Jersey, a less detailed announcement proclaims its “largest-scale studio development” ever in collaboration with bet365.
The new project with an unannounced location is spread across two studios and includes 19 new tables and an exclusive new roulette game, Super Spin Roulette. The new game is a bespoke creation for bet365 and adds to the rest of the new offering which comprises a dozen 7-seat blackjack tables, three standard baccarat, and two All Bet baccarat tables, as well as two single-zero classic roulette tables.
Central Placement of Bespoke Game
The one-of-a-kind custom-designed studio places the Super Spin Roulette game at the center of the action and surrounds the centrally located bespoke table with the other game tables.
The wording of the announcement is perhaps purposefully vague and is meant to state that the collaborative studio is the largest bespoke offering ever put together in its 22-year history. This is arrived at by the fact that Playtech previously opened new purpose-built studios in Riga, Latvia covering nearly 9,000 sq meters, or 90,000 square feet. Within that complex, built atop the ancient walls of Riga’s Old Town, were planned bespoke offerings. Were the newest studio(s) larger yet, each table would need 4,501 sq ft of dedicated space.

Roulette with Bet Multiplier up to x540
The announcement from the company explained the new game in a little more detail stating that it, “…boasts unique gameplay – with each spin, a random Multiplier is revealed with the highest possible Multiplier of x540.”
In mid-December, Playtech announced they had launched native language live casino games for Switzerland with the opening of a new studio constructed at Casino de Zurich.
That news was followed a scant two weeks later with an announcement that new studios would open at Play Gun Lake casino online from Parx Interactive in the US state of Michigan and another in New Jersey in collaboration with bet365.
