Content provider to the iGaming industry Pragmatic Play has further broadened its product offering with the launch of its brand-new sportsbook, the company announced on Friday.
The solution becomes the fifth vertical in which the supplier has a presence. It follows offerings for slots, live casino, bingo and virtual sports. The launch is part of continuing progress towards the company’s goal “of being the market-leading one-stop shop for all iGaming operators.”
According to the company, the managed sportsbook proposition, powered by a team of industry executives with years of experience at major B2C operators, “will cover all elements of the process” from event creation all the way through to bet settlement.
“The launch of our Sportsbook marks an incredibly proud moment for Pragmatic Play,” said Yossi Barzely, Chief Business Development Officer at Pragmatic Play. “We are not shy of adding new verticals to our offering if we believe we can be a differentiator, and by entering the sports betting space we’re now able to offer a complete one-company solution for operators looking to establish themselves or progress to new heights.”

Available through a single API, the platform, which Pragmatic Play describes as both customizable and versatile, offers “a comprehensive list of competitions, markets and events.” Additionally, it features access to exclusive official data from major events, including the EPL, ATP Tour, NBA, and NFL, among others.
“Pragmatic Play’s sportsbook offers untold potential for operators. From event creation right through to bet settlement, we cover the full trading lifecycle. Including custom markets, odds and risk across thousands of sporting competitions, our access to official data maximizes margins,” the company’s website describes. “The entire process is managed by Pragmatic Play, ensuring an adaptable plug and play product for operators.”
Additionally, a templated UI will allow for a modifiable user experience, the company notes, while the product can be localized to meet the needs of the target audience through CMS-driven curated content and a translation service available for various languages.
“Our team has worked tirelessly over many months to build a product we feel highlights our aim of being the leading content provider within our sector,” said Gareth Crook, VP of Sportsbook at Pragmatic. “The addition of our sportsbook product is a further step along in our mission and we intend on adding a high quality and trustworthy product.”
“We have an experienced and market-oriented team driving us forward and we’ve already had significant interest expressed in our Sportsbook from multiple markets,” Crook further commented. “We cannot wait to bring great betting experiences to players around the world!”
Content provider Pragmatic Play currently produces up to six new slot titles a month as part of its multi-product portfolio, available through one single API. The company aims to provide “unrivaled entertainment” through an innovative, immersive and mobile-focused approach. Its products are available in all currencies, 31 languages and all major certified markets.
