Casino News

In addition to launching the big-win sequel to its classic hit from 2017, Wolf Gold PowerJackpot, which distinguishes itself as the developer’s first global progressive jackpot game, Pragmatic Play has at the same time debuted Octobeer Fortunes, inspired by the world’s largest beer festival held every autumn in Munich, Bavaria, Germany.

The provider greets us with a hearty Guten Tag as it honors the annual celebration of beer, which is played on a 5-reel, 3-row grid where players can land wind across 20 fixed paylines. Highly volatile, the video slot has a 96.53 percent RTP and a betting range of 20 p/c to £/€100.

Symbols & Paytable:

Card suits serves as the game’s lower value symbols and pay 1.5-1.8x the bet for landing five-of-a-kind from left to right on adjacent reels, starting from the leftmost side. Pretzel, accordions, Bavarian hats, beer steins and wooden kegs are the premiums and are worth 3-15x the bet the same way. Landing on any reel, the game’s Wild symbol can substitute for all symbols except for the Money Scatter and are worth the same as the highest paying keg symbol when landing 3-5 the same as the rest.

Game Features:

The Wild symbol is also key to the Money Collection feature, where Money symbols land on all reels with a random value of 0.5-50x the bet. And when Money symbols and Wild symbols land simultaneously, every wild in view collects the instant cash value of each Money symbol, helping players on their way to overflowing steins and a max win of 4,500x!

Players who land at least 5 Money symbols will trigger 9 free spins. Before the bonus round starts, the value of each of the triggering Money symbols is added together and deposited into a tube located to the right of the reels. Money symbols that hit while free spins are active also have their values added to the collected amount. And whenever a wild symbol hits, the player is awarded the value of the collected Money symbol amount. The collected value does not reset and free spins do not retrigger.

Buy Free Spins Option:

Last but not least, depending on the jurisdiction, players who’d rather not wait for it to happen organically by – landing 5 or more Money symbols – can choose to Buy Free Spins, which will trigger the bonus feature. Of the several options here, each of which comes with 9 free spins, triggered by 5-15 Money symbols at a cost of 100-200x the bet. Players can also choose to pay 150x the bet for 9 free spins with a random number of starting Money symbols. The starting value for the progressive feature is the value of all triggering Money symbols added together and collected.

Wolf Gold PowerJackpot:

Now, we move on to Pragmatic’s first global progressive jackpot game, Wolf Gold PowerJackpot, which as mentioned is the sequel to the award-winning original version launched in December 2017.

The game takes players back to the prairies of North America, where they are still able to activate Free Spins and Respins during the base game. The former feature is activated by landing three Scatters in the reels and spins are awarded for a potentially lucrative bonus round.

Landing  at least six full moons triggers respins, which takes players to a Hold and Win-style bonus round. During the latter, players are given three spins in an effort to land as many money symbols as they can. Each of these have a random cash value. The count resets for every successful spins, and at the end of the round, all of the money symbol values are added together and paid.

Power Wheel:

A two-stage process, the PowerJackpot feature activates when all five reels transform into gold on the same spin. When this happens, the player is taken to a two-tiered jackpot mini game where they face the Power Wheel. The first of the two tiers displays bet multipliers that guarantee a base prize of a minimum of 10x, while the jackpot tier gives player a chance to win one of four – Mini, Minor, Major and Power – jackpots

Community Jackpot:

The Power tier has an expected average prize of €4,500,000, which when won activates the community feature. That means half of the pot is given to winning players, with the remaining half give to the last 1,000 users to play the game. And in doing so, all of the players who have contributed to the jackpot through gameplay benefit from the win

Commenting on the significance of the latest addition to its fast-growing library of titles, Irina Cornides, Chief Operating Officer for Pragmatic Play, said they are “always looking to bring fantastic additions” to their audience and Wolf Gold PowerJackpot “fits that description.”

Outside the Box:

The COO explains that by taking one of their most popular titles and twisting it with a new community jackpot feature, players are given an “ecosystem dimension” and their partners benefit from higher levels of engagement and retention

“We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve brought to the market and can’t wait for the community to start enjoying their rewards!”

The latest addition with the new and exciting mechanic follows similar releases that are in keeping with Pragmatic Play’s recent effort to “push the boundaries of slot and Live casino entertainment,” with games such as Sugar Rush and the innovative Boom City
