The Pokagon Band of Potawatomi’s Four Winds Casinos has announced a job fair for its expanded Indiana property, Four Winds South Bend. The meeting is set to take place at the University Park Mall, inside the old Bar Louie, located at 6501 Grape Road in Mishawaka.

The job fair seeks to hire specifically for hospitality roles at the tribe’s forthcoming hotel and spa. It will feature on-the-spot hiring and a $500 sign-on bonus for some positions.

The job fair will take place from 10 a.m until 4 p.m. on January 3-4 for those aged 18 and older. Representatives from Four Winds Casinos will be there to meet with those interested in their available positions.

Current opportunities for employment include front desk agents, night auditors, housekeeping, porters, room attendants, massage therapists, nail technicians, estheticians, valet attendants, gift shop clerks, limo drivers, dishwashers, culinary staff, food servers, and barbacks.

Applicants are encouraged to apply on the Four Winds Casino website prior to attending the job fair.

The expanded casino resort is expected to create 350 to 400 new jobs once all slots are filled. The new facility is expected to open in early 2023. The tribal company also runs Four Winds Casino Resort in New Buffalo, Four Winds Hartford, and Four Winds Dowagiac, all three in Michigan.

Once all expansion is completed, the resort will offer 317 hotel rooms featuring 83 suites, an expanded gaming floor, a spa, convention area with a ballroom and meeting space, a cafe, an outdoor swimming pool, and terraces “with spectacular views.”
