Gaming provider Euro Games Technology announced Wednesday it will provide assistance to earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria. Seismic activity registered in both countries on February 6 has left a death toll of 35,000 people, while rescuing efforts continue in the area.

EGT will thus join humanitarian aid efforts from other companies by sending essential goods, and will also provide sleeping bags for extremely cold temperatures.

Vladimir Dokov, CEO of EGT, commented: “Unfortunately, the earthquake in Turkey and Syria is another natural disaster with devastating consequences. At such times, the most natural thing to do is to help. That is why EGT will make this donation hoping the situation in the affected areas to be normalized as soon as possible.”

The news comes a day after the company announced its Casino Management Division has introduced its latest solution: the Spider NRA Register. With this innovation, Bulgarian operators can fulfill their obligation, according to Art. 10d, paragraph 1 of the Gambling Act, to check the visitors of the gaming facilities in the register of vulnerable persons.

The verification is automated, and the application offers two options to do it - by manually entering the personal data of the visitor and by using a personal document reader, explains the gaming solutions provider. For greater security, the information sent to the National Revenue Agency (NRA) is encrypted.
