BetMGM Responsible Betting at NFL Stadiums

Industry

As we begin the new American football season, there will be more betting at NFL stadiums that anytime before. In fact, the BetMGM sports betting app will be available at several stadiums across the country. And that means that MGM Resorts is thinking about responsible gaming.

Their program is called GameSense, and it will be available anywhere betting at NFL stadiums takes place. In addition to introducing GameSense to NFL stadiums, MGM and BetMGM have jointly committed to contributing a minimum of $1 million annually to support responsible gaming initiatives. These initiatives will focus on relevant research, advocacy, and prevention efforts in the realm of responsible gaming.

Betting at NFL stadiums via the BetMGM app will be permitted at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh, Empower Field in Denver, GHEA Field in Kansas City, MetLife Stadium in New York, State Farm Stadium in Arizona, Nissan Stadium in Tennessee , Ford Field in Detroit, M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, and Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, of course.

The Chief Compliance Officer at BetMGM, Rhea Loney, noted that the responsible gaming app is “…an extraordinary moment as we work with our team partners to raise awareness about responsible gaming… GameSense will play a pivotal role in reminding football fans who bet, to do so responsibly.”

The roll out of this app not only coincides with the launch of the new football season, and betting at NFL stadiums, but also as Responsible Gaming Education Month kicks off. MGM Resorts, BetMGM, and the American Gaming Association are working together to promote responsible gaming all throughout September.
