The 2024 Grosvenor UK Poker Tour (GUKPT) is in full swing, with two of 12 planned stops already in the history books. Luke Porter emerged victoriously from the London Main Event in January, and Vincent Meli triumphed in Manchester on February 11. A short turnaround means the third leg of the 2024 GUKPT, the Grosvenor UK Poker Open, is right around the corner.
The Grosvenor UK Poker Open runs from February 18 through March 3 at the Grosvenor G Casino, Coventry. Cash Out satellites dominate the first couple of days, with the first “proper” tournament shuffling up and dealing at 4:00 p.m. GMT on February 23.

A £440 No-Limit Hold’em Mystery Bounty event kicks off the Grosvenor UK Poker Open, a format new to the GUKPT, but one that has proven popular in 2024. The £440 Mystery Bounty at GUKPT London drew in 529 entrants and paid Peter Charalambous £13,040 plus bounties. A field of 440 entrants fought it out in the £330 buy-in equivalent in Manchester, with Alex Montgomery coming out on top and scooping £11,610 plus bounty payments.
Other Grosvenor UK Poker Open events include a £340 Mini UK Open, a £115 Ladies event, a £150 Seniors tournament, a £2,000 High Roller, and the £1,500 UK Open Main Event.
Dean Hutchison, the 2023 WSOP Main Event finalist, took down the last £2,000 High Roller held in Coventry. Hutchison outlasted 102 opponents on his way to getting his hands on £55,200 of the £178,000 prize pool.
The Main Event at this stop is a £1,500 buy-in affair, so it should award bigger prizes than the £1,000 buy-in event from Coventry in 2023. That time around, Matt Davenport came out on top of a 518-strong crowd, turning his £1,000 investment into £116,200.
