The victory gives Petrucelli her biggest score after a runner-up finisher at Live! Poker Classic Hanover last March for $48,500.
The Live! Maryland Poker Room noted that five of nine players at the final table were repping Maryland, though Petrucelli “kept the #LiveCup in Philly.”
Others who cashed the Live! Cup 3 event include Yaser Al-Keliddar (11th – $11,343), Tommy Tran (55th – $2,876) and reigning Player of the Year Bin Weng (41st – $3,269).
There are other big live events happening in Pennsylvania. Rivers Casino Philadelphia is preparing for the $200,000 guaranteed Philadelphia Poker Championship Main Event that runs May 24-26 with two starting flights before a Day 2 that will play to a winner.
The Day 1 flights of the $2,200 buy-in event will see players starting with 40,000 chips and blinds of 100/200/200. Levels will be 40 minutes on Day 1 and will increase to 60 minutes on Day 2.
