The Summer Poker Open is in full swing at Champions Club Texas in Houston with the series running July 31-Aug. 20.

The series consists of dozens of events and is offering more than $1.8 million in guaranteed prize money. The bulk of that will be in the $1 million guaranteed event, a $1,500 buy-in event that gets underway on July 12 and will give players several starting flights to choose from.

An early highlight of the series was the $200,000 guaranteed Multi Flight Multi Bag event that wrapped up on August 4, and you can watch the final table stream on YouTube.

Other highlights of the series in Houston include a $1,100 buy-in PLO Championship with a $200,000 guarantee and a $200 buy-in Flip N Go event with a $50,000 guarantee.

This isn’t the first big series at Champions Club. Earlier this year, the $3,300 buy-in Texas Poker Open Main Event drew 735 entrants as Ren Lin defeated Daniel Moran to win $400,000, while not-yet Main Event champion Jonathan Tamayo finished third for $180,000.
