It’s Time for NFL Betting!

Industry

The 2024 NFL betting season is ready to kick off! And players living in legal jurisdictions have many special offers and promotions to choose from, depending on what they value most! Plus, the Tropicana Las Vegas has officially set an implosion date!

Hello friends, I hope everyone had a great Labor Day weekend, but the question on everyone’s mind is: Are you ready for some football? Well, what about some NFL betting? We’ve got promotion and special offer information from DraftKings to FanDuel to Caesars and beyond! But first, if you haven’t heard the Tropicana has finally and officially set an implosion date: October 9th at 2:30 in the morning. Of course the implosion party… yes, there’s going to be a party… will begin the night before on the evening of October 8th. Yes, ahead of all the implosion fireworks there will be… well, actual firework. And a ceremony and a drone show before they blow up what’s left of the Tropicana. And while 2:30 in the morning is a little late, even by Vegas standards, look at it this way: It should be a little easier to get a cab afterwards.

But before any of that happens, the NFL season will kick off this week with special offers for those players lucky enough to live in a state where it’s legal to bet… and we begin with two of the biggest names in American sports betting. First, FanDuel is offering new players $200 in bonus bet and a 3-week free trial of NFL Sunday Ticket. Plus, their “Hunches” campaign where players bet based on intuition. Meanwhile, DraftKings is offering new players $250 in bonus bets, along with a one-month free trial of NFL+.

Of course, several other popular US sports books are offering even bigger bonuses for NFL betting, some of them up to $1,500! So let’s talk about Fanatics, they have up to $1,000 in bonus bets
during the first week of the NFL season, with more ways to earn their FanCash rewards. Additionally, Caesars is offering their $1,000 “Rebet” promotion. So if you lose your first bet, they will give you your wager amount back in a bonus worth up to $1,000. Not to be outdone, ESPN bet is running almost the same offer on on their site… they will give you back up to $1,000. And BetMGM is giving back up to $1500 bucks in bonus bets to players who lose their first wager. Terms and conditions apply for all these offers.

Rounding out our list of NFL betting promotional offers for the NFL kickoff we come to Circa Sports, who have two contests running for the entire football season! First it’s the Circa Millions, where players make weekly picks against the spread with $6 million in guaranteed prizes… and the Circa Survivor, a winner take all contest where players try to choose a different winning team each week,
with the last player left winning $10 million! Registration for these contests ends on September 7th, and you must register at a Circa location in Nevada. Now, for you players out there who love you some prop bets, our friends at Casino City have published a list of some of the best, including advice and odds on win totals, division titles, who makes the playoffs, league MVP, the Super Bowl and more!

And finally this week, our friends at BetMGM are helping to kick off the NFL betting season with a special live dealer blackjack tournament, complete with former NFL stars… and you’re invited to attend, provided you live in a certain location. Kickoff with the Stars will take place Thursday September 5th at BetMGM Casino in New Jersey. And if you’re a little upset because you don’t live in New Jersey, and therefore can’t participate, remember this: You don’t live in New Jersey! And that’s a win all by itself! New York Jets legends Wayne Chrebet and Tony Richardson will participate in the live event and engage with fans online. No word on if they’re actually going to play blackjack, but if they do, I think we all know the outcome:  Dealers 21, Jets 17!
