At the SBC Summit Lisbon, gaming content provider SYNOT Games showcased its latest innovations and gaming portfolio to a global audience, reinforcing its commitment to growth in regulated markets.

The event, held from September 24-26, provided an ideal platform for the company to highlight key offerings, including its newest game, All Ways Queen, and the introduction of its retention tool, PEAK (Player Engagement and Acquisition Kit).

In an interview with Yogonet, Andrea Kolarcik Machackova, CMO, and Martina Krajci, CCO, shared insights about SYNOT’s strategy, market expansion, and the trends shaping the future of iGaming, emphasizing player protection and regulatory compliance.

What could you tell us about the show? Did it meet or surpass your initial expectations?

Andrea: SBC Summit really surprised us this year, not just with the new location but also with how this event has grown from the previous year. And I must tell you that it is one of the must-attend shows for us in the iGaming Industry, and a perfect opportunity to evaluate the most recent industry trends, innovations, and emerging technologies.

Martina: In essence, our main objectives included reinforcing client relationships, fostering connections within the industry, exploring new business opportunities, and keeping up with the latest developments in iGaming.

What were some of the highlights the company presented at SBC? What set SYNOT Games’ portfolio of gaming content apart?

Andrea: We were excited to present the latest additions to our portfolio at the SBC Summit. We showcased our newest game release, All Ways Queen, which was set to launch on October 10, 2024, and it was the main theme of our stand, along with new games scheduled for release through 2025. Additionally, we introduced our new retention tool, “PEAK” (Player Engagement and Acquisition Kit), to our clients.

We also showcased our full games portfolio, which included over 150 online slots and table games, all developed in-house from scratch, including sound design.

SBC is one of the largest iGaming exhibitions in the European market. What jurisdictions were you targeting at this show?

Martina: Our main goal was to target regulated jurisdictions, including new ones like Peru, where we recently obtained a license, and also Brazil. But we keep coming back to regulated countries in the EU, where we are holders of all necessary licenses and certifications. We are also strengthening our position also on the Portuguese market and our clients here.

What major trends did you see gaining momentum in the online gaming sector and being discussed at SBC?

Andrea: One of the main themes at every expo, including this one, was player protection and regulation. As the business grew rapidly, it became increasingly important to focus on these topics. With regulations evolving at different speeds and in different directions in various markets, the compliance landscape is becoming more complex, especially regarding gambling safety.

As we approach the last quarter of the year, are there any new projects, plans, or goals for the remainder of 2024 that you could share with us? What is the next expo SYNOT Games will be attending?

Andrea: Each event on our calendar this year has been carefully chosen to provide a comprehensive view of the industry, enabling us to adapt and thrive in an ever-evolving gaming landscape. As the year is getting closer to its end, we are excited about our participation in events such as G2E Las Vegas, SiGMA Malta, BEGE or smaller gathering Casino Inside Romania. Our participation in these events underscores our commitment to networking and discovering new business opportunities.

Martina: We are currently in the process of obtaining certification for the regulated market in Brazil, as well as securing a Danish license. Looking ahead to next year, we are preparing applications for New Jersey and Ontario. We are also excited to explore every new regulated jurisdiction that emerges in the coming years.
