Stakelogic Gets Regulatory Approval to Enter Ukraine’s iGaming Space

Latest News

Online slots developer Stakelogic has added Ukraine to the list of markets it is authorized to provide its products in after recently obtaining a B2B license from the local regulator.

Stakelogic was the latest online gambling company to receive a license from Ukraine’s Commission for the Regulation of Gambling and Lotteries (KRAIL) following last year’s reorganization of the country’s iGaming and digital sports betting market.

It should also be noted that the company was one of the first service providers to be issued a B2B license enabling it to provide its games to Ukrainian players via locally licensed online casino operators.

Stakelogic is already licensed by the Malta Gaming Authority and the Romanian National Gambling Office. In late 2019, the company also received a supplier license from the UK Gambling Commission to enter one of the world’s largest regulated Internet gambling markets. It is further certified in multiple territories to provide its products in a regulated environment.

The KRAIL license allows the online slots developer to deliver its ever-growing suite of games in one more regulated market with huge growth potential.

Hit title Black Gold 2 Megaways and recent release Giant’s Fortune Megaways, and more online slots, as well as the studio’s recently unveiled Live Casino suite have all received a stamp of approval from KRAIL to be delivered to operators in the Ukrainian market, it became known.

A Market with Great Potential

Commenting on their Ukrainian license, Stakelogic CEO Stephan van den Oetelaar said that Ukraine’s iGaming space has been on their radar for some time, “with leading CIS market experts tipping it to be the territory with the greatest potential in the region.”

The executive went on that their past experiences working with regulators in other territories, such as the UK, ensured that they “were prepared for all eventualities in Ukraine” and that they are pleased to announced that they successfully passed all the necessary requirements to soon be able to work with licensed operators and bring their suite of hugely popular games as well as their new Live Casino product to Ukrainian players.

It was late last month when Stakelogic announced that it would venture into the live casino sector with a proprietary suite of titles. Stakelogic Live features popular casino games such as blackjack and roulette as well as a variety of gameshows that are all streamed from a state-of-the-art studio in Birkirkara, Malta with 22 live dealer tables.

It was also not long ago when the company underwent a brand redesign that reflected its transition from a B2B slot studio to a provider of online casino content for operators and players alike.
