Israeli Poker Players Ran Ilani and Ran Koller battled heads up in the $800 8-Handed No-Limit Hold’em Deepstack at this years World Series of Poker 2021. It was a massive field with 2,778 entries. It is believed to be the first time that two Israeli’s have competed for a bracelet heads-up at the WSOP. It was Koller’s day as he defeated his fellow countryman to win his first WSOP gold bracelet as well as the $269,478 first-place cash prize, by far the largest score of his career. Ilani took home $$166,552 for his runner-up finish. Lára chats with Koller to find out how he feels about his epic win & what it means to him to fly the flag for Israel at the WSOP.
