Casino News

Oryx Gaming has put pen to paper on a full turnkey deal with Gauselmann Group umbrella brand Merkur to launch its platform and content in the Czech Republic. The agreement marks another significant step for the Bragg Gaming Group (NASDAQ: BRAG) company as it continues to implement its strategy of “penetrating regulated markets” with industry-leading operators.

Under the deal, players at Merkur’s online casinos will gain access to a wide array of iGaming content including Oryx Hub-exclusive slots titles from Armenian studio Peter & Sons, German game developer Gamomat, and from Oryx’s own in-house studio. The provider will also provide its casino gaming aggregator product from leading suppliers to top-off the content offering.

PAM & FUZE:

The online operator will also leverage the Slovenian provider’s Player Account Management (PAM) iGaming platform in addition to operational services including fraud and data management, KYC and payments. Also included in the deal is Oryx’s state-of-the-art Fuze gamification and engagement toolset, including:

  • Tournaments with Realtime Leaderboards
  • Quests
  • Free Rounds
  • Mystery Jackpots
  • Achievements
  • Promo Push Notifications
  • Opt-In Tournaments
  • Recommendation Engine

Each of which has been designed to enhance the player experience, boost online casino operator KPIs and increase player lifetime value (LTV) via a single centralized system.

CEO comments:

Commenting on the collaboration, Stefan Bruns, Chief Executive Officer for MERKUR, said…

“ORYX’s commitment to providing a market leading turnkey online gaming solution coupled with its market leading range of both in-house and third-party casino content and services match exactly what we’re looking for to take our brand online to Czech players. It offers us the right blend of flexibility and differentiation that is going to serve us well as we continue to grow our leading presence there.”

For its part, Bragg Gaming Group Chief Executive Officer Richard Carter used a company press release to explain that “reaching the full turnkey platform agreement with an established global land-based and online gaming group such as Gauselmann marks another significant step” for the company as they “continue to execute on our strategy of penetrating regulated markets with leading operators.”

The CEO adds that the agreement allows them to “deepen” their footprint in the Czech Republic market with their “industry leading platform tools and exclusive content and we are delighted to align with such an established and experienced partner.”

The full Merkur Czech launch, to be powered by the Oryx platform, is expected to roll out in mid-Q2 2022.
