Gaming and sports betting software provider BetConstruct announced it has been awarded the title of the Platform Provider of the Year from the SiGMA Americas event, which was held in Toronto, Canada, June 6-9. The summit is one of the largest iGaming gatherings in the region.

“With Sportsbook, Data Feed Solutions, Slots, Live Casino and Skill Games BetConstruct stood out from the competition with its all-inclusive catalog,” the company says. Through its partner-focused approach, the provider has now opened its platform to over 200 3rd party content providers, “giving operators the freedom to choose.”

Meanwhile, BetConstruct’s advanced Spring Platform “supports the extensive suite of all the products and services,” thus providing the operator with all the necessary tools to manage their business.

All in all, BetConstruct describes its products as aimed to provide “an extremely flexible solution” and multiple channels for iGaming. The company also thanked the award, stating it values industry recognition and responsibility “and will keep on providing operators with the best possible content, services and solutions.”

SiGMA Americas Summit took place June 6-9 at the Enercare Center – Exhibition Place in Toronto, a city described as poised to become a North American leader in iGaming, building on the foundation of a deeply supportive framework.

The event coincided with the passing of Bill C-218, legalizing single-game sports wagering in Canada, and the iGaming market launch in Ontario, on April 4. The fast-growing sector is expected now to draw on a well-established financial ecosystem, with a network of globally renowned Fortune 500 companies and a culture of regulated gambling sectors in North America.

In addition to the awards ceremony, the event also featured a Toronto cultural tour at the Westin Harbour Castle; a networking poker tournament; iGathering dinners; a networking drinks reception with Global Gaming Women; SiGMA’s official closing party at Rebel; and a Niagara Falls & vineyard tour.
