International Game Technology (IGT) announced Monday that its Wheel Of Fortune Powerbucks slots minted two millionaires during August. Slots players that collected the million-dollar prizes last month were located in Canada.

On August 20, an online Powerbucks slots player won CAD 1.15 million ($865.880) playing Wheel of Fortune Cash Link Exotic Far East in British Columbia. And shortly after, on August 26, another Powerbucks player won CAD 1.03 million ($777.442) playing Wheel of Fortune Hawaiian Getaway in Ontario.

IGT Powerbucks slots have paid 42 jackpots of $1 million or more since their Canadian debut in 2016, the company notes. Wheel of Fortune slots have minted over 1,100 millionaires and awarded over $3.4 billion in jackpots since their launch in 1996.

The Wheel of Fortune slot is inspired by the popular Wheel of Fortune TV program, which reaches more than 25 million weekly viewers. Trademarked as America’s Game, it has earned seven Emmy Awards including a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Game/Audience Participation Show.

In July, IGT’s Wheel of Fortune, Megabucks and Powerbucks slots paid out seven massive jackpots totaling more than $10 million. IGT Megabucks slots have paid more than $1 billion since their inception in 1986.
