Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana Hit $37.9Million Gaming Win In February 2024

An iconic gaming and entertainment venue, Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana, generated almost one fifth of the total gaming revenues in the state in February 2024. According to the Indiana Gaming Commission (IGC) data, Hard Rock reported $37.9 million in gaming win for the period to account for 19% of the $199.7 million total revenues generated by the 12 state casinos after paying successful wagers in February.

$37.9 Gaming Win in February:

As reported by the NWI Times, the landmark casino’s gaming win achieved in the given month represents a 10% increase when compared to the $34.4 million win from February 2023. The home to a unique gaming thrill, a range of food and beverage outlets, and a continuous streak of entertaining events recorded an outstanding monthly performance in February despite the overall decline experienced across the Northwest Indiana gaming market during the month, according to the source.

Matt Schuffert, president of Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana, reportedly said that February was ‘’a very exciting month.’’ Schuffert continued: ‘’We were able to grow our gaming business by 10% over last year, with minimal credit given to the February’s extremely mild weather and having one extra day from leap year.”

Best Win in the State:

The president reportedly also said that the Hard Rock will host more than 20 shows in the forthcoming period, with both restaurant and gaming tables set for the accelerated springtime activities expected in the resort. In line with the customer requirements, the facility ensures to regularly update its gaming floor, the NWI Times reports. Such a responsive approach reportedly brought $273.3 million in slot machine revenues in February. As reported, the tally resulted in the gaming win of $26.2 million standing for the best win achieved in the state in February.

Table games reportedly aligned with the casino’s overall monthly performance to handle more than $40 million and generate the table win of $11.7 million. According to the source, the total bets handled in Hard Rock were above the combined table handles of three other Northwest Indiana casinos aggregated at $38.7 million.

Outperforming Competition:

The IGC data reportedly shows that Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana outperformed other 11 casinos in the state. The same source reports that it was followed by Horseshoe Indianapolis and the former leader Horseshoe Casino in Hammond that made $21.6 million in win in February to experience a 22.6% decline year-on-year. Other casinos reportedly achieved substantially lower gaming wins or, respectively, experienced a decline from the last year’s levels.

Their different February performance reportedly resulted in the overall casino revenue of $199.7 million. In the same month, the online and land-based sports betting operations in the state handled a total of $408.7 million in bets to exceed the last year’s figure of $356.2 million by almost 13%. As reported by the NWI Times, the slot machine and table game handle generated 59.2 million in gaming tax revenue for the state, with sports betting handle contributing $3.6 million to the Indiana budget.
