Southwest Airlines is running a promotion through this Thursday, 9/9/21. The quick summary is you need to book a round trip ( or 2 one way) flights by 9/9/21 and complete travel by 11/18/21. Now, that isn’t much notice and the companion fare is only for 2 months but it is still a great deal. If you have a trip planned for January/February, you could take a quick trip to a nearby airport pretty cheaply and then save money on your January/February trip.

These are 2 pretty good offers from Southwest Airlines. Even though companion fare is a great deal, Southwest is still strongly encouraging people to take advantage of the offer. Hopefully, that’s a sign that it will be around for years to come.
