Authentic Gaming enters South Africa with Betway in new live casino content deal

In a move that further expands its international reach, premium live casino supplier Authentic Gaming has enhanced its long-standing partnership with online betting and gaming company, Betway Group, after debuting in South Africa‘s rapidly growing market.

The new deal will see the provider’s studio-based casino titles and auto-roulette games accessed by Betway players in Africa’s southernmost country for the very first time. Included in the studio tables are popular games such as Viva Las Vegas, Nightclub, Casino Floor, Grand and 24/7, each of which is set against an elaborate backdrop and led by professional dealers to ensure gameplay is fun and engaging.

Expansion priority:

Explaining the significance of the deal via a company news release, Magdalena Podhorska-Okolow Chief Commercial Officer for Authentic Gaming said that international expansion is currently a priority for the company and they are “delighted” to have entered South Africa’s fast-growing market with long-standing operator partner, Betway.

“We see huge potential for casino in the region and believe our suite of studio-based and auto roulette titles will add variety and quality to Betway’s portfolio, allowing it to deliver a superior online experience to its players.”

Cricket-themed title:

Additionally, the operator’s players will also gain access to the supplier’s one-off, dedicated-environment table, Cricket Roulette, a live roulette title that is available exclusively to the operator’s players.

Billed as the world’s first cricket-themed live roulette title, a live scoreboard is the backdrop for the table and provides players with all of the news and scores from the Indian Premier League (IPL) as well as other various cricket leagues and tournaments. So, while keeping abreast of the latest scores, at the same time players can also partake in live roulette. The scores and the game can both be accessed via the player’s smartphone or tablet.

Furthermore, Betway’s live dealer portfolio will also see the addition of a series of Auto Roulette titles, including VIP, Speed and Classic.

Market potential:

Also commenting on the new content supply deal, Phillip Superamonien for Betway said the South African market has “huge potential” and they believe that betting on casino games will prove to be very popular with players in the region as they’ve seen “tremendous growth in recent months.”

Established in 2015, the Malta-based live casino firm’s entry into South Africa is part of its strategy to enter already regulated and jurisdictions that are regulating and to provide operators with a broad range of premium quality live roulette products that are innovative and entertaining, as the vertical continues to see “unprecedented growth.”

Spain entry:

The latest deal follows Authentic Gaming’s exclusive launch with Entain in Spain, including five five-wheel installations in the prestigious Gran Via Casino in Madrid, which the supplier offer to their online interest iJuego.es del Casino Gran Vía. Three sub-categories of Roulette will be offered by the provider, including Authentic Roulette, Auto Roulette and Studio.
