Habanero has joined a host of other top-tier online game developers that have contributed to Betsafe’s growing portfolio of casino games for players in the Baltics. The Betsson casinos serve players in Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia with content from a variety of providers in local languages.

Habanero and Betsson already have an established framework for cooperation in other markets and the recent Baltic agreement expands on an earlier deal that opened space on the mega sports betting and casino supersite, StarCasino.it to all of Habanero’s Italian-certified slots, table games, and video poker titles.

A statement from the company on Monday noted that the partnership helped establish Habanero as a strong brand in Italy by integrating with StarCasino which holds an enviable place in the market. The note said that the “…partnership has gone from strength-to-strength since going live.”

The Best of the Best

Arcangelo Lonoce, head of business development for Europe at Habanero, commented on the deal. He said: “At Habanero, we are all about working with the best of the best, and given our fantastic success with Betsson and StarCasino across Italy, we look to emulate this success again with Betsafe in the Baltics.

We are so thrilled to see our products go live in Betsafe’s offering, and hope that we can assist the operator in attracting multiple demographics of players with our fantastic range of games. We look forward to plenty more years of expansion together across multiple new markets

A spokesperson for Betsafe added: “Habanero’s distinguished slot portfolio has a proven track record of performance across a wide range of markets, so we are delighted to be able to join forces to entertain our audiences. We’re sure that this will be the first of many new markets we work the studio across.”

Having already established itself as a leading slot provider in Europe and Latin America, the developer added multiple jurisdictions to its global footprint over the last year and this deal helps Habanero maintain the momentum established in 2021 with expansions into the CEE region, Spain, and Argentina to name a few. Most of the expansion occurred soon after Habanero secured a license from the Malta Gaming Authority early in the last year.

Further Betsson deals this year include the January announcement by Wazdan that they would be providing native language content to Betsafe on the Lithuanian domain. While there were already about 80 Wazden titles in the catalog, 19 more were added in early January including four titles exclusive to the site. Among those was the wildly popular Power of Gods™: Hades.

Localized COntent for the Baltics

Betsafe localizes and customizes content across all three of its sites in the Baltics with licenses in Estonia and Latvia in addition to the newest launch in Lithuania.

In February, Greentube, the NOVOMATIC Interactive division announced it would also contribute Russian language content to Betsafe with popular classics like Lucky Lady’s Charm™, Sizzling Hot™, and Book of Ra.

Lisa Sandner, sales & key account manager at Greentube, said of the late February agreement: “We’re thrilled to see our varied portfolio of iconic online slots reach players across Lithuania and the rest of the Baltic states. The Greentube brand is synonymous with quality and it’s a real joy to be able to introduce new players to everything we have to offer.”

And finally, at about the same time, SYNOT announced they would be helping Betsson serve Baltic players as well. SYNOT Games is licensed by the Malta Gaming Authority and UK Gambling Commission and certified in several jurisdictions including Spain, Italy, Portugal, Sweden, Denmark, Latvia, Lithuania, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, Croatia, Greece, the UK, Malta, and the Netherlands. The SYNOT portfolio holds some 90 titles, available in 31 languages.
